You probably remember the Internet Explorer Test Drive site that Microsoft rolled out a long time ago to show everyone that its new browser is fully capable of dealing with HTML, touch and hardware accelerated graphics.

Oh well, this website has just turned 3, so Microsoft used the occasion to publicly thank all users who showed their support for this effort.

The Test Drive page has received more 130 million views, according to the Redmond-based technology company, which is more than a page per second for the last three years.

“The support you’ve shown is humbling,” Microsoft said in a blog post. “IE10 continues to deliver the best performance for real world Web sites on your Windows device, and the Test Drive is a great place to experience what’s possible yourself.”

The Test Drive site comes with more than 140 demos, including a so-called CanvasPinball, Audio Explosion to touch, see and hear IE10 and Flying Images, the company’s very first test drive.
