The information according to which Microsoft might include an antivirus solution into the Internet Explorer 7 seems to be more than a rumor, the project for this version of the browser reaching an impressive level of complexity.

The antivirus in question could be developed together with the Sybary Software team, the company taken
over by Microsoft a few months ago. Aside from this vital function, Internet Explorer 7 will include more and more tools aimed at blocking phishing attacks.

Many users are anxiously waiting for the next Internet Explorer since it's the first totally redesigned version of Microsoft's browser. From the statements made by Microsoft representatives it turns out that this version will be available somewhere towards the end of the year, and one of the most important innovations included into the browser will be possibility of use tabs, a function available in most of the browsers. Another important feature to be included in version 7.0 is the RSS capability.

Internet Explorer 7 will be included in the Longhorn operating system, but it will also be available for Windows XP users.
