Microsoft will soon launch the new Internet Explorer 11 as part of Windows 8.1, but IE10 continues its growth.

Statistics provided by StatCounter for the first 21 days of July 2013 show that Internet Explorer 10 is now the most popular version of Microsoft’s browser, which could be an indication that users are slowly making the move to Windows 8.

While Chrome 27 is still on the first place with 19.54 percent of the market, IE10 is fourth with 10.83 percent, but still ahead of IE8 and IE9, which are installed on 7.59 percent and 5.38 percent of the PCs worldwide, respectively.

As far as Internet Explorer 11 is concerned, a testing version is already available in Windows 8.1 Preview, while the final build is expected to go live together with the RTM flavor of the operating system later this year.
