Internet Download Manager has received another update this morning that makes it work better on the newly launched Windows 8.1 operating system.

IDM 6.1 build 7 fixes a critical bug in the Internet Explorer integration module, while also resolving compatibility issues with Google Chrome 31.

What’s more important however is that it also comprises better support for Windows 8.1 and Internet Explorer 11, which means that the application should now work flawlessly on the Microsoft’s latest offering on the OS market.

Last but not least, the developing team has also implemented improved video recognition in web players, so make sure you get the update as soon as possible.

All in all, it remains one of the top apps of its kind, so you can now download Internet Download Manager even if you have already made the move to Windows 8.1.
