Internet Download Manager has received a new set of improvements this morning, only two days after the developing team rolled out a new update for Windows users.

This time, Internet Download Manager 6.18 build 9 is mostly supposed to address bugs and other issues found in the app, which makes the update a must-download for everyone.

The official release notes provided to us together with the new version claim that IDM comprises a bug fix resolving an issue with erroneous dial-up dialogs, while also adding a workaround for a glitch causing Internet Explorer to crash in some cases.

Just like all the other versions of IDM, the application continues to offer support for all Windows editions on the market, including the newly-launched Windows 8.1.

Overall, this is a necessary update especially for IE users, so download IDM 6.18 build 9 right now to make sure all bugs are fixed.
