Internet Download Manager has just received an update that brings several optimizations and bug fixes for Windows users who are looking for more control over the files they are downloading.

Version 6.16 comes with an improved IDM download engine, which means that the app should now get your files even faster, while also boasting enhanced stability and performance.

In addition, the new build addresses problems experienced when downloading clips from DailyMotion sites, as well as some other bugs that affected the overall experience with the app.

Internet Download Manager continues to work flawlessly on absolutely all Windows versions that are still supported by Microsoft, including the 11-year-old Windows XP and the recently launched Windows 8. The trial version allows you to try out its features for a maximum of 30 days.
