Lenovo has decided to make yet another smartphone available for purchase in more markets around the world, namely the Lenovo IdeaPhone S890, which has been so far available only in its homeland market, China.

The global variant of the handset was brought to CES 2013, with its 5-inch touchscreen display that can deliver a qHD resolution, as well as with a 1.2GHz dual-core processor packed inside, Engadget China notes.

The mobile phone also features an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, capable of recording videos in full HD resolution.

One of the main differences between the Chinese flavor of the handset and the international version is the presence of Ice Cream Sandwich on the former, while the latter is running under Jelly Bean.

Lenovo announced plans to make IdeaPhone S890 available in Southeast Asia and Russia in the near future.
