Didn't I tell you to keep your eyes on Softpedia? Well you're about to receive all you have bargained for. As I promised earlier today, the following article is dedicated entirely to the language
support in Internet Explorer 7.

So, IE7 for the world. As of now Microsoft only offers support for the English version of the browser. But bear in mind that this is just the first step. Microsoft will continue to release Internet Explorer 7 for a total of 24 localized languages. In this context, there will be an IE7 release with language support for each version of Windows, therefore 24.

The Redmond Company has divided the upcoming releases into two categories. IE7 with support for Arabic, Finnish, French, German, Japanese, and Spanish will be launched sometime between two to three weeks starting now. For additional language support you will have to wait for gradual releases from November until January.

"In addition to these full language versions, we will release the Multi-language User Interface (MUI) version in January, and the fifty-five Windows XP Professional Language Interface Pack (LIP) versions of Internet Explorer 7 after that," promised Tony Chor, Microsoft Group Program Manager.

Windows MUI/LIP Knowledge Center provides additional information related to this matter.
