Bradley Gilbert, a 20-year-old man from Bethlehem, was sent to prison for money fraud after he used his ex-employer's bank account to access pornographic content, The Morning Call reports today. In case you're saying this is
no big deal, you should know that Mr. Gilbert spent no less than $3,196 on the adult pages on which he conducted no less than 107 operations. The entire fraud was recorded between May and October 2006, the same source adds. Stephen Camarano, the owner of the Fuddruckers restaurant, discovered the charges made on pornographic websites last year on November 2, the same day when he contacted the police to inform them about the fraud. After the police started the investigation, Bradley Gilbert was sent to the Northampton County Prison with a bail of $25,000, The Morning Call continues.

I really don't know how he managed to use the bank account in personal transactions, maybe he got the information or something but I think Fuddruckers' owner should try to protect his money details of the employees. It's extremely dangerous to share your financial data with unknown persons and even with employees because some of them who decide to leave the company may always access the account and steal money from it.

Sure, it's illegal to do that but there are way too many cases which reveal cases of money fraud and other malicious use of financial information. Bradley Gilbert now faces a multi-year in prison sentence which will surely make him regret the search for porn but I guess it's smarter to think before acting.

At this time, the Internet is full of illegal material which can easily bring people into trouble just for accessing it. Just look at the BitTorrent websites. TorrentSpy, one of the largest websites in this market, was requested to provide private details about the users accessing it because they might distribute pirated content.
