InterVideo, a member of the Blu-ray Disc Association, announced that it has demonstrated the next generation DVD technology in their flagship products for DVD playback and multimedia creation.

InterVideo WinDVD now supports HD DVD and BDAV (video file in BD format) playback as well as BDAV menu navigation. With the added next generation DVD technology, WinDVD offers movie enthusiasts to experience the complete quality of HD video.

In addition, MediaOne, a powerful digital media software suite that delivers nine multimedia solutions in one convenient package, now supports BD recording, direct recording for both HDV and DV on BD disc, and also supports BD data burning.
