It will probably sell better than all the fancy cases that usually make the news

There is no question that desktop cases like the new mid-tower from Aerocool and open-air limited edition S-Frame Case from In Win have enough perks to warrant specific mention in the news, but as ironic as it sounds, those chassis will sell less than most of those not covered by the media.

Why? That's simple, because as awesome as high-end cases are, they are too expensive for the bulk of the consumer segment to bother with them. There is a reason the mainstream / mid-range segment is called that: it makes up the majority of prospective buyers.

These customers are more likely to buy things like the new SY-113 from Inter-Tech, a chassis that ships for just under €40 / $40 - $53. And that's with a 500W power supply included.

The newcomer measures 410 x 195 x 425 mm / 16.41 x 7.67 x 16.73 inches and, thus, supports micro ATX and ATX mainboards alike.

It also has a front I/O panel which, set above the obligatory power/reset button, and has two USB ports (USB 2.0, sadly, not 3.0). Other than that, the front panel allows access to two 5.25-inch ODD bays.

Besides, there is room for six 3.5-inch drives on the inside, as well as four fans (one 80 mm, three 120 mm).
