Microsoft has made available for immediate download Mouse and Keyboard software for Windows Vista. IntelliPoint Pro 6.1 Software is designed for the Backlit Keyboard of the Wireless Entertainment Desktop 8000. Microsoft is delivering the drivers for both 32-bit and 64-bit editions of the operating system and in a variety of languages. "If you currently have keyboard beta software for Windows Vista installed, you must first uninstall it before installing the final software," informed Microsoft.

IntelliType Pro (32-bit) final software: English, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), French, German, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil), Portuguese (Portugal) and Spanish.

The IntelliPoint Software is for the Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 8000. The Redmond Company added that all existent mouse beta software for Vista must be removed before deploying IntelliPoint software.

IntelliPoint (32-bit) final software is available in English, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), French, German, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil), Portuguese (Portugal) and Spanish.

The release of IntelliPoint drivers should have resolved keyboard and mouse issues on Vista, but some users are still reporting limited problems.
