Have you ever bought clothes without actually trying them first? Maybe it's time you do so. Intellfit's Virtual Fitting Room at Philadelphia airport offers a free service that lets you get the perfect fit without the hassle of trying the clothes. Philadelphia Airport is the first one in the U.S. to
host Intellfit's service.

Intellfit's Virtual Fitting Room is based on a patented technology. The VFR is a "cylindrical kiosk" that's 7 feet in diameter and 8 feet high. The "auto-fit" system is basically a scanning machine. In order to get the right "fit", you'll have to stand in the middle of the VFR for 10 seconds. Don't scream if you observe an "antenna wand" approaching and passing around you. The thing's purpose in life is just to collect info about the size of your ass, arms, leggs and so on. It will "harvest" 200,000 data points during this process. The measurements are then matched to a brand-name clothing found in the company's data base. Once you leave the fitting room, you can search the suit online. So, are you prepared to buy a 10, 000$ Gucci suit? If you're not mentally prepared, don't worry! Intellfit's "FitPrint" technology can only offer clothes from Nordstrom, Levi's, Lands' End, GAP, Nautica, Dockers and Jos. A. Bank. The VFR is completely safe (soundproof too maybe), using just 1/350 th the power of a cellphone signal.

Intellifit president, Rob Weber comments, "Air travelers are busy people, and many don't have a lot of spare time to walk through shops and malls. Our Virtual Fitting Room provides a no-risk guaranteed fit for the online clothing shopper. "

If you're that eager to try the virtual fitting room, catch a flight to Philadelphia and ask where Terminals A and B are located. If you miss the flight, you could try the VFRs located at Levi's stores in Houston, Manhattan or San Francisco.

We are just a few, but there are many of you, Softpedia users, out there.
