14 DAY TRIAL // Intel X.Org Driver package, an open source 2D graphics driver for the X Window System as implemented by X.Org, has reached version 3.0 Pre-Release 9.
Chris Wilson has launched yet another version of the xf86-video-intel driver, just a couple of days after the previous release. This is a small update that brings only a few changes.
Highlights of Intel X.Org Driver 3.0 Pre-Release 9:
• Xv support using glamor acceleration has been added in addition to adaptors provided by the UXA backend; • An overeager discarding of CPU damage has been fixed. This is a regression that was introduced in 2.99.908.
