Intel X.Org Driver package, an open source 2D graphics driver for the X Window System as implemented by X.org, has reached version 2.21.15.
Chris Wilson has released yet another version of xf86-video-intel drivers, which features some interesting changes.
Highlights of Intel X.Org Driver 2.21.15:
• Some build fixes have been implemented for the BSDs and the alternate compiler; • Lots of miscellaneous fixes for older gcc, other compilers and BSD have been implemented; • Initial framework support for hosted X has been added; • The transition from fbcon to X with multiple outputs and extended desktops has been improved; • The driver must now ensure that the framebuffer exists before checking it against the CRTC constraints; • RGB overlay support has been added for Ironlake and later models.
