The new BIOS releases update messages in the event where no bootable devices are found

Intel has rolled out new BIOS packages targeted at some of its devices, namely version 0056 compatible with the DQ77KB desktop board, as well as build 0032 developed for the DE3815TYKHE NUC kit and DE3815TYBE NUC board.

When it comes to changes, DQ77KB’s new BIOS resolves the problems with the boot order that couldn’t be changed, the issue with dimming control that didn’t work with eDP panels, as well as the one with the onboard LAN controllers that failed and showed an error in Device Manager.

As for the NUC-related release, the 0032 package shrinks the BIOS update time by skipping the Intel ME segment (if version hasn’t changed), updates the messages for the event where no bootable devices are found, and adds support for the iSCSI feature.

In addition to that, this NUC update also resolves the problems with the system not being able to boot and the memory size being incorrectly reported with certain SO-DIMM modules, and fixes the reboot cycle issue after flashing the BIOS by updating the Visual BIOS to version 2.2.8.

With this in mind, if you intend to apply the latest BIOS on your device, you should know that this task is recommended only when the newer version specifically solves an issue the board has been encountering; otherwise, it’s just a risk that you can avoid taking.

That being said, from the links below, follow the one that best describes your Intel product, apply the latest BIOS package, and constantly check with our website in order to stay “updated one minute ago.”
