Intel has unveiled its 18.5 Ethernet Connections CD that contains all the network drivers and software for most of the Intel Ethernet Adapters, which is compatible with the supported versions of Windows, Linux, and FreeBSD.

Through this newly released package, the producer adds support for Microsoft’s Windows 8.1 and Server 2012 operating systems, and removes drivers and software files developed for the Windows Vista, Server 2008 R1, as well as for the Itanium-based systems.

In addition to that, the CD includes all the necessary files for Intel’s X520-1 and X520-2 Ethernet OCP Server Adapters.

This CD has quite a large size (of over 75 MB), therefore it’s recommended for users who really need all the files for all the adapters that it contains, and moreover, the producer highlights that not all the adapters are supported under every version of Windows, Linux, and FreeBSD.

That being said, follow the link below, and download the CD that has just been made available by Intel.
