The CPU is the one used in some of HP's Pavilion ultrabooks

Just like Advanced Micro Devices quietly released the A8-Series 4557M and A10-Series 4657M APUs, Intel has brought out the Core i3-2375 CPU.

The chip was spotted in the specifications of HP Pavilion Ultrabook notebooks and, oddly enough, Sleekbooks as well, even though the latter are supposed to only have AMD chips inside them.

After all, Sleekbook is the term that HP invented for ultrabook-like notebooks that are thin enough to qualify as ultrabooks but don't have Intel CPUs and, thus, are not allowed to be advertised as such.

But we digress. The Core i3-2375M mobile microprocessor is a Sandy Bridge CPU with two CPU cores working at 1.5 GHz. The cache memory is of 3 MB (L3).

SSE4 and AVX instructions are supported, and there is even an Integrated HD 3000 graphics processor (350 MHz / 1 GHz boost).

Finally, the TDP (thermal design power) is 17W and the price of the BGA chip is $225 / 173-225 Euro.
