Intel has recently released version 15.28.20.3347 of its HD Graphics 3000/2000 driver. This update resolves the content protection related issues when upgrading to Windows 8.1, as well as the “Display driver stopped responding and has recovered” error seen after closing and re-opening the laptop lid while playing video.

Game improvements have been made for CyberCiege and Quake 4. The first title now doesn't miss the objects and textures reported with the previous release, while for the second game, this rendition fixes the display blanks during gameplay.

Issues that didn't get to be fixed with this release are the error messages when closing the lid while playing Blu-ray Disc content on Intel WiDi and while attempting to play a Blu-ray Disc with WinDVD.
