Update the firmware in your SSD using Intel's latest specialized tool

Intel delivers the 3.0.1 version of their SSD Toolbox utility, a drive management software that will help you get detailed info on your solid state drive, and allow you to make firmware upgrades.

The toolbox provides data on SSD model number and size, firmware version, drive health and estimated life remaining.

At the same time, the Intel Solid State Drive Toolbox 3.0.1 can be used with HDD units and a lot of SSDs manufactured by other producers; it will help you identify the product and use the SMART attributes.

You can enhance the performance of your SSD by using the Trim function or run full diagnostic scans on it. Besides updating the existing firmware, this toolbox will also let you run Secure Erase on another Intel SSD, in case you need such an operation.

The Intel Solid State Drive Toolbox 3.0.1 is intended for the following series and will update the firmware to the following versions:

- 710 Series gets firmware edition 6PB10362 - 320 Series gets firmware edition 4PC10362 - 311 Series gets firmware edition 2CV102M5 - 310 Series gets firmware edition 2CV102M3 - X18-M / X25-M SATA SSDs (34nm) gets firmware edition 2CV102M3 - X25-V SATA SSD gets firmware edition 2CV102M3.
