We have presented some details concerning Intel's new line of dual-core processors some time ago, the models serving as a replacement of the Pentium D935 and Pentium D925. The processors are the Pentium
E2160 (1.86GHz, 1MB L2 cache, 800MHz FSB) and the Pentium E2140 (1.6GHz, 1MB L2 cache, 800MHz FSB). These models had their prices set to $84 and $74, respectively; but which - according to the website ebuyer.com, which already has in their offer the Intel Pentium E2140 at $99, taxes included - are not shipping yet.
Intel has this line of processors due in June, the 3rd to be more precise, and they are to be the dual core replacements of the Netburst architecture. The products also had to be presented alongside Intel's new Celeron 400 series of processors, also due in the same time frame. However bald the online stores move, it's a common habit for these websites to market products on their pages, even if they aren't in stock, but to say you have a product that won't even hit the market for another couple of months, with a price tag attached to it and all, is a little bit too much.
Nevertheless, there have been websites that not only had products which were, let's say, under a Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA) policy, but actually went forth and presented the products along with test results and even overclocking results on their pages. Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't NDA supposed to mean you should keep your virtual mouth shut? It's similar to what the army calls, a need to know basis, where information is given to you based on your security clearance, and if you don't score high enough, you don't need to know.
