Intel has outed a new USB 3.0 driver version targeted at some of its next unit computing devices, namely release 3.0.0.33 compatible with the DE3815TYBE NUC board, as well as with the DN2820FYKH and DE3815TYKHE NUC kits.

This fresh update can be applied on systems running only Microsoft’s Windows 7 platform, either bit architecture, and which include one of Intel’s 8 Series/C220 or 9 Series chipset families.

In addition to that, the currently released package can also be installed on next unit computing devices that have a 4th generation Core CPU or a Pentium or Celeron processor (N- or J- models).

As for installing this driver, first make sure your system configuration is compatible with the described download, get and extract the proper archive for your NUC, and run the available setup for a complete and successful installation.

Bear in mind that the “Setup.exe” must not be executed from a USB storage, such as an external hard drive or USB stick. Also, after applying the USB 3.0 driver, there might be a slight possibility that your keyboard and mouse stop working.

If this issue is encountered, please go to the Advanced Boot Options menu by pressing the “F8” key during boot, select the “Last Known Good Configuration” option, and restart the system. As highlighted by Intel, after performing these steps, the two USB devices should work properly.

With this in mind, from the links below, follow the one that best describes your NUC model, get and apply the latest driver version, and constantly check with our website to stay “updated one minute ago.”
