Intel has just announced the latest addition to its Solid-State Drive professional family line-up, namely the new business-class SSD Pro 2500 series, and along with this release, the producer has also outed two new versions of the SSD Toolbox and SATA SSD Firmware Update Tool (FUT).

Specifically speaking, Intel has rolled out SSD Toolbox version 3.2.3 that resolves compatibility issues with 1TB and larger drives and can be installed only on systems running under Microsoft’s Windows Vista, 7, 8, 8.1 and Server 2008 R2 platforms.

As for the Firmware Update Tool, the producer has updated the utility to build 2.0.13 and managed to fix various working problems regarding several Apple systems. Unlike the Toolbox, this package is an OS-independent file and can be installed regardless of the operating system.

Besides support for the Intel’s latest SSDs, both releases apply firmware version TG20 to the SSD Pro 2500 devices and also include compatibility with the producer’s SSD Pro 1500 series, as well as the SSD 730 series devices.

Moreover, the newly-released solid-state drives also benefit from a new SSD Pro Administrator Toll, version 1.1.0, that is also compatible with the SSD Pro 1500 series and which can be installed on Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and Server 2008 systems.

That being said, if you intend to buy one of the aforementioned devices, keep in mind that you can download all the needed files in order to fully make use of all its features by following the links below.
