Intel has made available a new version of its Iris and HD graphics package, namely build 3945, which fixes the wireless display connection strength so that it doesn’t disconnect when playing a Blu-ray disk through a WiDi device.

In addition to that, this new release resolves the Control Panel issues regarding the power plan, which wouldn’t change even if a different power plan was applied, and improves the compatibility between Intel’s WiDi technology and the Media Player Classic program.

If version 10.18.10.3945 is applied, display corruptions in Microsoft Office programs or in games that use Direct X 10 won’t be spotted anymore, and resuming from sleep mode won’t encounter a black screen or a flickering display (if on battery power) either.

Moreover, the bug with the monitor resolution that didn’t show the maximum setting is fixed, the issue where playback would slow down in certain circumstances on an Intel NUC is resolved, and no delay will be spotted when launching the desktop context menu.

Last but not least, since computer manufacturers tend to customize the graphics driver to change or add other features that Intel isn’t aware of, this new release provides a link that will redirect you to Intel’s support page in the event of a possible error message.

As for the compatible operating systems, Intel’s update can be applied on computers powered by Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 platforms, either bit architecture, and which include one of the producer’s Pentium, Celeron, and 3rd-gen Core CPUs.

That being said, download Intel Iris/HD Graphics Driver 10.18.10.3945, apply it on your computer, make sure you reboot the system after the upgrade, and constantly check our website in order to stay “updated one minute ago.”
