Intel has just made available a new graphics package compatible with Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 operating systems, namely versions 15.28.22.3517 (32-bit) and 15.28.22.64.3517 (64-bit).

The new release is targeted at Intel’s 2nd-generation core CPUs with HD Graphics 3000 and 2000, as well as at several Pentium and Celeron processor models that you can view on the description page of each download record.

Graphics build 3517 adds support for HDCP 2.2, fixes the content protection problems encountered after upgrading to Windows 8.1, and resolves an error encountered when closing and opening the notebook lid while watching a video.

In addition to that, this fresh update fixes the CyberCIEGE missing textures and objects and the Quake 4 blank display issue, resolves the 3D screensaver hang problem, and allows setting the Extended Display configuration without any HDMI errors.

Moreover, the mouse doesn’t disappear anymore on specific settings, the operating system information is now properly recognized by Intel’s graphics control panel, and the secondary display’s resolution and refresh rate can be modified without it freezing.

As for the contents of the package, Intel’s release includes the 9.17.10.3517 graphics version, the 6.14.0.3097 display audio driver, as well as the producer’s Media SDK Runtime.

That being said, download Intel HD Graphics Driver 9.17.10.3517 for the compatible bit variant, apply the package, and enjoy your newly updated graphics chipset.
