Intel Offers All Ethernet Adapters Drivers in One File

The zip file that Intel has released contains all the drivers and software for supported versions of Windows, Linux and FreeBSD for most of Intel's Ethernet Adapters.

Unfortunately for some users, it doesn't support operating systems like Microsoft's Windows 95, NT 4.0, 98, 2000, Me or XP 64-bit Itanium Edition.

Since the file includes a considerably large number of drivers, the file size is also big. It is slightly over 160 MB, and Intel recommends that you download only the drivers for your operating system, that is, if you do not need all files from Intel Network Connections CD.

Note that Intel also recommends installing any Network Connection software using command line, if your system is running on Windows Server Core.

In this release, Intel adds support for another two Ethernet Connections, namely I217-V and I217-LM.
