Just as we reported the previous week, Intel has just updated its official price list with four new ultra-low voltage mobile Sandy Bridge processors, including three Core i5 and i7 parts as well as a new Celeron CPU.

All the chips feature a 17W TDP and come inside a smaller BGA package which enables notebook makers to save space when designing ultra-compact laptop models.

Making our way from top to bottom, the fastest mobile ULV chip that Intel has released is the Core i7-2677M which features two processing cores runing at a 1.8GHz base clock (up to 2.9GHz thanks to Turbo Boost) as well as support for the Hyper-Threading technology.

Much like its predecessor, this will also use the HD 3000 integrated graphics core, which has a base clock of 350MHz, but Intel has now increased the maximum GPU turbo speed to 1.2GHz, 200MHz higher than that of the current Core i7-2657M.

Next comes the Core i7-2637M that features pretty much the same specifications, but its base and Turbo operating frequencies were cut back by 100MHz, to 1.7GHz and 2.8GHz, respectively. Both Core i7 chips feature 4MB of Level 3 cache memory.

Right under these CPUs, we find the Core i5-2557M which also features two processing cores clocked at 1.7GHz and a 2.8GHz maximum turbo speed, but it comes with only 3MB of Level 3 cache.

Finally, the last ULV processor to see the light of day is the Celeron 847. This sports dual processing cores running at 1.1GHz, 2MB Level 3 cache, and only supports the most basic of computing features.

As expected, the Celeron 847 is the cheapest chip to be introduced since it sports a $134 price tab, while the Core i5-2557M retails for $250. The remaining two Core i7 processors, the 2637M and 2677M, have an MSRP of $289 and $317, respectively. (via CPU-World)
