After offering the public last week's driver for the Intel HD Graphics adapter family (only with Windows Vista and Windows 7 support), the American producer is pushing out another release, suited for Windows 7 and Windows 8 users.

Either way you look at it, Intel surely isn’t wasting a thought on those who are still using Windows XP.

The 15.28.10.2897 is crafted to work with the 2nd Generation Intel Core Processors with Intel HD Graphics 3000/2000, and 3rd Generation Intel Core Processors with Intel HD Graphics 4000/2500.

However, Intel says that this version is intended for developers and IT professionals, so there might be more to it.

Intel HD Graphics takes out the old graphics boards and puts them on a chip. To be more precise, it's the CPU we're talking about. Now, the two gaming components – CPU processing and graphics – are on a single unit. The benefits are accelerated graphics processing, higher performance and energy efficiency.

We treasure your time so we’ll save some for you: you don’t have to surf the web for the download links, they’re immediately below.
