Specifically speaking, the new package improves compatibility with certain TV tuners that didn’t work, and fixes a problem with some LAN devices that needed different SMBIOS Device Type Instance (DTI) values by setting it to 2 for the second LAN device.
Besides the obvious BIOS package, the release contains the ME firmware version 8.1.20.1336, the integrated graphics option ROM 2137 PC 14.34, as well as the SATA RAID option ROM version 11.6.0.1702.
Moreover, the LAN option ROM 1376 PXE 2.1 Build 090, as well as the MEBx code based on version 8.0.0.0066 are also included in the BIOS update.
