After releasing Gigabit Ethernet Controller Driver 19.3 for Intel NUC, the producer has rolled out a new Wireless LAN driver version targeted at its DN2820FYKH Next Unit Computing Kit, namely version 17.0.6.

This new update can be applied on the aforementioned device only if it’s powered by either the 32- or 64-bit architecture of Microsoft’s Windows 7 and 8 operating systems, or by the 64-bit variant of Windows 8.1.

Intel’s 17.0.6 package installs the Wi-Fi drivers for its Wireless-N 7260BN mini-card found on the DN2820FYKH NUC and is not compatible with other devices. However, if another product is owned, you can check the Intel PROSet/Wireless 17.0.6 release to see if your network adapter is supported.

When it comes to applying the present update, simply download the appropriate package for the NUC’s OS and bit version from the available ones, run the executable, and follow the on-screen instructions for a successful installation.

In addition to that, don’t forget to perform a manual system reboot (if not requested by the wizard) in order to complete the update and make sure that all changes take effect properly.

That being said, download Intel DN2820FYKH NUC Kit Wireless Driver 17.0.6, take into account all aforementioned aspects, and apply the latest Wi-Fi version on your NUC.
