Companies that sell pre-built PCs get first dibs, as always

Another day, another bit of information on Intel's next collection of central processing units. Yesterday, we had the Haswell BGA Mini PC Chips, and today, we learn that some processors are already shipping.

People shouldn't get their hopes up though. While Intel is providing OEM partners with Haswell Core-series processors, sales won't begin before June.

OEMs are the makers of pre-built PCs that need shipments of processors early on, otherwise they wouldn't have computers ready to sell when the CPUs come out.

Both the Core i7-4770K flagship quad-core part, and the Core i5-4670K, are likely included in the OEM partner orders. We know of twelve chips really, both low power and not. C|Net website has more information.

For those who want to order the CPUs alone and make their own computers, some units have been set up for pre-order.
