Intel has recently updated its Material Declaration Data Sheets database with the S-spec and box part numbers of four upcoming chips, thus confirming the rumors that stated the company is preparing four new Sandy Bridge processors for a Q3 2011 release.

Three of the processors that were added by the Santa Clara chip giant belong to the Core i3 product line, while the fourth is a new Core i5 model. All the CPUs feature improved performance when compared with their current counterparts.

Starting with the Core i3-2125 and Core i3-2130 parts, these are both successors of the Core i3-2120 model, but the first includes better HD 3000 graphics while the latter is clocked 100MHz higher than the i3-2120.

Both of these feature the same 65W TDP and pricing for the Core i3-2130 has been established at $138 US.

The third Intel Core i3 chip to be launched is called the 2120T and is designed as a slightly faster version (2.6GHz) of the low-power i3-2100T. Just as its predecessor, this also sports a 35W TDP and will be sold for $127 US.

All of Intel's second-generation Core i3 processors include two processing cores with Hyper-Threading support, 3MB of Level 3 cache memory, support for the AVX and SSE4 instruction sets and a DDR3-1333 dual-channel memory controller.

Finally, the last Sandy Bridge CPU to be detailed is the Core i5-2320 which includes four processing cores operating at 3GHz, 100Mhz higher than the Core i5-2310 it was designed to replace.

Since this is a Core i5 chip, it also includes support for the Turbo Boost technology (up to 3.3GHz), includes 6MB of Level 3 cache and has a TDP of 95W. This CPU will be introduced in September, with a $177 price tag. (via CPU-World)
