Oops, they did it again! Foreign Apple partners have reportedly spilled the beans on what is possibly Apple's rumored mini-tablet. During an Intel event, Intel Germany's CEO, Hannes Schwaderer, has told the media there will be a new, larger iPhone-like device coming out of the Cupertino labs, specifically using the chipmaker's Atom processor, sources inform.

The English translation of a ZDNet.de piece goes a little something like this, according to MacRumors: "As part of an Intel event for the 40th birthday of the semiconductor company at Munich's BMW World, Germany managing director Hannes Schwaderer confirmed today what has long been a rumor on the Internet: namely, that there is an iPhone with Intel's new Atom chip. The device is slightly larger than the current version, Schwaderer said. That is not, however, because of the Intel chip, but because of the larger display used in the new iPhone."

Undoubtedly, Apple will do everything in its power to clarify that Mr. Schwaderer actually has a very funny way with words and that anything's possible (not wanting to sound like denying the whole thing). After all, if Apple doesn't have plans to release its upcoming invention any time soon, the company is likely to do whatever it takes to keep the whole thing under wraps, considering its secretive nature.

Sadly, a few beans are also rolling on the streets of Switzerland as a result of Swisscom disclosing the fact that Apple's upcoming iPhone model will support streaming television, Macstein is reporting. Word has it it will become available through the exclusive Swiss carrier.

Again, if this isn't a plan on behalf of Apple to draw all the media's attention onto itself, we're likely to see reports clarifying Hannes Schwaderer's statement at the Intel event for the semiconductor company's 40th birthday at Munich's BMW World. We could even see Intel itself rushing to dismiss the rumor.
