They will be tablet-laptop hybrids based on Atom CPUs

Intel has launched desktop and mobile Haswell CPUs, but it has been advancing its Atom line as well. It had to, in order to ensure that its plans for the holidays became true.

And by plans for the holidays I mean the promise it made on Twitter that 2 in 1 tablet-ultrathin notebook devices would come out in time for the holidays.

Said devices would bear prices of $399 / €305-399. Not quite the $200 / €153-200 dream, but close enough for now.

Then again, the laptops sold for $200 / €200 will not have very high capabilities. Sure, they will have touch support, if everything proceeds according to plan, but they will still be something like netbooks in the grand scheme of things.

Then again, if they are moderately sized, business customers won't need any more than the basics anyway.
