The three mobile processors announced by Intel are graved using 90 nanometer process technology, and they represent the last stage before the 65 nanometer Yonah, which will probably be launched in the second quarter.

The first model is Pentium M 780, which will operate at 2.2GHz, will have a 2MB of cache memory and a TDP (Thermal Design Power) of 27 watts. The TDP is designed to keep the CPU running at a much lower temperature than the critical temperature reached when running regular software applications, which means 75% of the maximum power.

The second model is Pentium M 778, which runs at 1.6GHz and will benefit from the same 2MB of cache memory. Unlike Pentium 780 which has a 533MHz FSB, this one has a 400 MHz FSB and a TDP of 10 watts.

The last novelty announced by Intel is Celeron M 380, which will have 1MB of Cache Level 2 memory and a TDP of 21 watts.

The prices announced for these processors are $637, $284, and $134 for Pentium M 780, Pentium M 778 and respectively Celeron M 380. All prices are valid for shipments that exceed 1,000 units.
