Intego’s New “Identity Scrubber” Protects Sensitive Information on Your Mac

Intego has commissioned its PR troops to spread the word that the company had a new line of Mac security programs ready for purchase. And they have a new app called Identity Scrubber for us.

In addition to overhauling VirusBarrier and Net Barrier, the company’s well-known anti-malware products, Intego has announced Identity Scrubber, a new security tool that searches for sensitive identity information stored on your hard drive and protects it.

Going by Intego’s press release, the tool isn’t available as a standalone download. Instead, it’s packaged in the English language version of Intego Mac Internet Security Premium 2013.

“The Mac Internet Security Premium 2013 bundle brings together three of Intego’s top-selling products to protect you and your data against malware, network attacks, and the loss or theft of your Mac,” says Intego.
