14 DAY TRIAL // Intego, a firm dealing exclusively with Mac security, has announced its latest back to school promotion offering 20% off its X6 security software, purchased through the Intego online store. The promotion runs through September 30, 2011.
Intego provides a wide range of software to for both Mac and iOS customers.
The Austin, Texas-based security vendor today announced a special back to school promo on all of its X6 apps which, according to the developer, “keep your Macs safe from the dangers of the Internet.”
Customers get to save 20 per cent on their purchase of any X6 product.
“Whether you’re going back to school or to work, it’s a good time to make sure your Macs are protected from the dangers of the Internet,” says Intego.
“Get protection from viruses, malware and network attacks, tools to back up your essential files and filter out spam, or to keep your children sheltered from inappropriate web content. Intego has the programs you need to protect you and your Macs,” the security firm adds.
The 20% discount applies not only to Intego X6 software, but also to their Dual Protection product, which can be bought exclusively from the Intego online store.
The offer doesn’t extend to upgrades, renewals or accessories, but only to standard packs and family packs.
The programs to which the promo applies are VirusBarrier X6; Internet Security Barrier X6; VirusBarrier X6 Dual Protection; Internet Security Barrier X6 Dual Protection; and Washing Machine.
To benefit from the discount, customers must use the code ‘2011: BACKTOSCHOOL2011’ in the Intego online store.
The offer is not restricted to any territory but you’ll only be able to benefit from it in Intego’s online store.
The company specifically states that said offer does not apply to software sold in Apple’s Mac App Store or iTunes App Store, in the case of iOS apps.
