Loyal American Life Insurance Company, a member of Great American Supplemental Benefits Group (GASB), has released an iPad version of their Express app, which allows agents to quickly quote rates and submit business.

Loyal American Life Insurance Company has been an insurance provider since 1955. As deductibles and coinsurance costs grow constantly, the company aims to meet the financial needs of Americans.

They have a new iPad app now that was designed with two new products in mind: the  Loyal American Affordable Health Benefits, and Cash Advantage Critical Illness.

Thanks to a proprietary electronic application submission process, the app allows agents to eliminate the hassle and expense of printing and faxing by quoting a rate or submitting new business on the spot.

Agents are also able to sell policies over the phone and do not have to gather a wet signature, thanks to the new tablet-based solution.

David Chambers, GASB Divisional Vice President, Sales and Marketing, remarked: “We feel the iPad is a tool that will be as popular as a cell phone within 5 years.”

“Applications for the iPad are not fads; they are standards that successful businesses must adopt to remain cutting-edge. We are proud to be one of the first carriers in our space to launch this technology and feel it is one more reason that we have achieved distribution growth.”

GASB Divisional President, Brad Wolfram, added: “We understand that agents are busy and they need to spend their time selling rather than tied up with paperwork.”

“Our goal is to offer quality products that help provide peace of mind to consumers while delivering solutions that make it easy for agents to do business with Great American. Agents continue to tell us they love doing business with GASB because we issue policies and pay commissions quickly while offering excellent service to their clients,” said Wolfram.
