Instapaper, the one-stop-shop for saving and storing articles for offline reading, has received a trio of enhancements in a recent update for iOS platforms.
Created by Marco Arment, one of the more vocal developers on Twitter, Instapaper is a cool app you can use to save any web page you come across for convenient offline reading.
It includes a text-only mode, which strips articles of unnecessary images, stores up to 500 items on your iDevice (and unlimited items on the Instapaper site), and offers integration with a truckload of third-party apps out there.
In version 5.0.2, Instapaper offers background updates, fixes "Report a Text Problem" on iPad, and shows "Open in Safari" on iPad from the share menu. The app still runs beautifully on iOS 5 devices, and it also offers some iOS 7-style flatness.
