Popular photography app Instagram has received a complete overhaul on iPhone and iPod touch with a series of enhancements that cover every aspect of the software.
Users get a new Willow filter, an all-new camera, improved tilt-shift quality, the ability to scroll infinitely on user profiles and other grid views, and lots more.
The developers further added a Foursquare button on location pages that makes it easy to launch the Foursquare app (or the Foursquare mobile website) right from within Instagram.
Finally, filtered photos are now saved to “Instagram” in the camera roll (a separate album).
Instagram continues to be compatible with iOS 4.3 and works with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad. The app is fully optimized to take advantage of the iPhone 5’s four-inch display.
