The popular photography app Instagram has been promoted to version 2.5.0 on the iPhone and iPad, bringing a fresh profile tab, improvements to commenting, and the ability to search for users across the app’s main segments, to name a few additions. According to the release notes for Instagram version 2.5.0, users are getting a revamped profile tab, the ability to search for users and tags in the Explore tab, and improvements to commenting.
User search will autocomplete your typing with suggestions based on people you follow, and you can now optionally share likes to Facebook, by enabling this feature in your Profile > Sharing Settings > Facebook.
Some other (minor) visual improvements have been made as well, along with some speed optimizations, according to Burbn Inc.
