With Google recently announcing the next version of Android operating system, Jelly Bean, developers will have to update their apps and games in order to add support for the new platform.

Even though some of the apps and games available in the Google Play store may support Android 4.1 Jelly Bean unofficially, there’s no telling how well they will run on new devices such as Nexus 7.

This is not a problem anymore for Instagram users, as the developers have just updated the application with Nexus 7 support.

Although the tablet has just been launched on the market, lots of Android enthusiasts already managed to purchase one and are now expecting more and more apps to be updated with support for Nexus 7.

Aside from bringing Nexus 7 supports, the latest version of Instagram for Android also allows users to share photos to Flickr.

Instagram 1.1.7 is now available as a free download via Google Play store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.2 and up.
