There’s no changelog available for this update for the moment

Instagram has recently launched its official application on Windows Phone platform, though it’s still in beta state. The Android and iOS versions, however, continue to be updated with small improvements and bug fixes.

Thus, it looks like a new Instagram version has just popped up on Google Play Store. The bad news is that developers did not release an official changelog, so we can’t tell for sure what’s changed in this version.

We suspect that Instagram has only added some small enhancements and perhaps some bug fixes not worthy enough to be mentioned in a changelog. New features are less likely to be added though.

You can now download Instagram for Android 5.0.1 for free via Softpedia. Keep in mind that the application should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.2 and up.
