A group of suspects in a series of burglaries have been caught after Instagramming a photo of them eating $120 (€80) worth of fast food.

CBS Sacramento writes that they are accused of breaking into several vehicles between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. on Saturday.

Three adults and a minor were apprehended after a photo of them eating Carl’s Jr. food on the trunk of a vehicle was posted online.

A Rocklin Police Department spokesperson describes that the suspects have used a victim's credit card to buy dinner, soon after the robberies.

The vehicle appearing in the shot was traced using license number recovered off the diner's surveillance cams. An employee recognized one of the suspects, and police ended up checking his Instagram account.

He had posted about returning to the scene of the crime, and he was caught the next day. Police arrested him and his accomplices, Tavion Spignor, 19, Leroy Jackson, 25 and Malek Morgan, 20.
