GQ Magazine has come out with a list that’s already getting lots of people hot under the collar – and loose of tongue on Twitter: The 25 Worst Rappers of All Times.
Insane Clown Posse is sitting pretty at number one.
The list also includes the likes of Diddy, Pitbull, Soulja Boy, Madonna, Will Smith (whaaat?!), Prince, Master P, Vanilla Ice, MC Hammer and “everyone from England, ever.”
While mostly fans were upset by the inclusions in the top, the guys at ICP have taken the “win” quite personally.
“Insane Clown Posse has been selling rap records, rocking rap stages and making rap money for over 20 years now. You can't rack up all that rap success for this long and still be ‘the worst ever.’ GQ magazine should stick to what they know: Dressing preppy metrosexuals,” they tell TMZ in a statement.
“Tell GQ to say it to my face!” they add.
So, do you agree with ICP that you can’t put a record selling artist on such a list? Or do sales have nothing to do with quality?
