WildCharge tried to revolutionize the mobile charging process

WildCharge has developed a concept which will allow mobile phone users to charge their devices wirelessly as to maximize their mobility. The idea doesn't seem all that out of reach, considering that it will be available in only a month.

Mobile phones have been trying to get rid of the wire connection ever since they appeared. Actually, the only action that one has not been able to perform wirelessly until now is that of charging their batteries. WildCharge has thought of breaking these bounds too and tried making the handsets completely mobile.

The concept behind WildCharge's idea features an efficient wire-free electric power delivery. This is done through an ultra thin pad which delivers energy to any WildCharge-enabled device. All that the user has to do is to place its mobile phone on this pad, as if it would on a coffee table and no longer worry about wires.

The advantage of using the WildCharger pad is that more than one device can be charged at the same time, with disregard for different power requirements. This sounds like a highly futuristic look on the mobile phone charging process.

As interesting as this concept may seem, we can't help but see its disadvantages. The pad is also connected to an electricity source through a wire. Moreover, for being charged, the devices must stay at all times on the pad. Thus, the mobile phones are actually hooked to this WildCharger pad and bring little extra mobility.

Even more, with traditional wire chargers, the user could talk on his handset while also charging it. Still, with this new idea, if the user wants to answer his phone, he must pick it up from the pad and, thus, decouple it from the charging source. Doing this a few times during charges is more than enough to considerably shorten the battery's life.

The wireless charging technology from WildCharge will be available starting with the beginning of July, this year.
