Super Talent, they are the ones that received one of the biggest awards, not in size, but the most meaningful of them all. PC Professionell presented the "Innovation of the Year" award to Super Talent
for the IDE Solid State Disk (SSD). Receiving the award for Super Talent Technology was CH Lee, the Vice President of the company, by this bringing them to a hall of fame filled with big names such as AMD, Nokia, Mozilla, Transmeta and Novell.

Alongside their full range of DDR and DDR2 memory modules, flash based storage devices represent another big part of the company's name, and to this new line of products Super Talent has added a new generation of Serial ATA SSD drives. Models in this range include 1.3-inch, 1.8-inch and 2.5-inch IDE drives that go up to 64GB in size and 1.8-inch, 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch Serial ATA SSD drives that go all the way up to 128GB in size.

Super Talent Marketing Director Joe James said that: "We are truly honored to win this equivalent of a High Tech Oscar. This is a clear reflection of our focus on developing innovative memory products". PC Professionell is one of the most respected computer magazine in Germany, and probably the largest.

Having the honor of being rewarded for the "Innovation of the Year" is just a token of their appreciation and advancements brought by the San Jose-based company, and taking into consideration that this is a rapidly growing market, competition will be fierce, so an official recognition for their work will give the company a boost in confidence, but don't grow horns just yet, the race has just begun, and with competitors such as Intel, Samsung and SanDisk, it's not going to be easy.
