Inno3D, a leading graphics accelerator manufacturer and an NVIDIA partner, has recently updated its graphics card lineup with the introduction of six new cards, designed to leverage the graphics performance and energy efficiency of the latest NVIDIA GeForce 9800 and 9600-series of GPUs. The new units are said to deliver an increase in energy efficiency of between 40% and 60%, compared to their standard models, which aren't featured in the “green” category.

All of the newly-released Inno3D NVIDIA-based graphics cards are equipped with the latest 55nm graphics processing units, which have been combined with a specially designed PCB to enable the increase of energy efficiency. According to the manufacturer, these cards should consume anywhere between 40% and 60% less power than their standard counterparts. This feature should provide users with a significant saving on the power of the overall computer system.

As far as specifications go, the new cards from Inoo3D are part of the company's E-Save series and are available in three different variants, including the GeForce 9800GT, GeForce 9600GT and GeForce 9600GSO. The GPU clocks on these cards are rated at 550MHz for the GeForce 9800GT and 600MHz for the other two cards. The memory clock has been set at 1800MHz for the 9800GT card and 1400MHz for the 9600GT and 9600GSO versions. The cards are featured with 112, 64 and 48 processor cores, clocked at 1500MHz, 1625MHz and 1500MHz, respectively.

Each model is available with either 512MB or 1GB of 256-bit GDDR3 memory, which makes for all six versions of the new E-Save series of graphics accelerators. As with almost all NVIDIA-based graphics cards, these new energy-efficient models are featured with a number of NVIDIA's own technologies, including PhysX, SLI or CUDA-support. These allow the user to take advantage of an increased visual quality and a better overall graphics performance.
