14 DAY TRIAL // InnoVISION Multimedia Limited, better known on the hardware market as Inno3D, just announced the launch of a new mainboard designed for Intel compatible computer systems that also includes a Nvidia made chipset and an integrated graphics processing unit. While Inno3D is not very well known as a mainboard manufacturing company, it has nonetheless extensive experience with Nvidia powered discrete graphics cards as it manufactures such cards since 1995.
This brand new mainboard from Inno3D is named SL73UM-HDMI and it is designed to house an Intel central processing unit ranging from the latest Core 2 Quad to the more than affordable entry level Celeron, while providing a strong hardware platform thanks to the integrated support for DDR2 memory modules and the Nvidia GeForce 7150 built in graphics solution. This new offering from Inno3D is one of the few motherboards out there on the market to offer support for HDMI or DVI display, while being certified to work with Microsoft Windows Vista.
On the hardware specifications side, the Inno3D SL73UM-HDMI mainboard comes with a LGA 775 socket that can accommodate the latest Intel central processing units like Core 2 Duo, Extreme and Quad as well as older Pentium D and Celeron D processors. This mainboard is based on the Nvidia 630i chipset and it also comes with the GeForce 7150 integrated graphics solution that offers native DirectX 9 support.
On the random access memory department, this card uses DDR2 memory modules and it comes with two such slots for memories between 533 and 800MHz, while being able to use a maximum of 4GB of DDR2. Even as it comes packed in a small form factor, this mainboard is equipped with one PCI Express x16 expansion slot as well as one PCI Express x1 slot and two legacy PCI ports.
An integrated audio solution is also included and it is based on the Realtek ALC883 audio chip that can deliver High Definition sound output, while the presence of a high end networking solution based on the Marvell 88E8056 Gigabit Ethernet controller will provide high Internet speeds and a maximum of data through output. A total of ten high speeds of USB 2.0 ports are also present as well as four Serial ATA II ports and one Perallel ATA and FDD connectors.
