In early December, the US Public Interest Research Group issued a new report saying that, according to information at hand, people in the United States have really taken a liking to bikes over these past few years.

Still, it would appear that the American's love of bicycles is not nearly as great as that of the Dutch.

The infographic below was pieced together by Lindsay Wilson of Shrink That Footprint. It documents which nations drive, fly, cycle and take the train the most.

According to this infographic, folks in the United States drive twice as much as the Brits do. What's more, they bike about 25% less than the Dutch.

When it comes to traveling by train, the Japanese are pretty much the kings and queens of rails. On the other hand, the Irish seem to love and adore the experience of flying.
